Our club formed in 1980 as Grasslands S.C. and transited to our current name, Central Plains S.C., in 1984.  Members have won two National Championships, a 2nd place in Nationals, multiple Regional championships, and have had 2 members represent Canada in international competition on 3 occasions. The club is very active, having hosted National Championships on two previous occasions, and now will do so again in August of 2025
